Fibreglass roofs...

Preparation - stripping the old bitumen felt

After pressure washing/blasting, all claddings are checked for cracks, leaks etc.  These are then repaired using G.R.P resin and glass chop strand mat.  Flashings are made in our workshop or built on site.

Where flat roofs require a new weatherproof, permanent and no maintenance covering we manufacture boards of marine plywood with heavy weight bonded multi-layered fibreglass.

To control the heating up of the roof during the warmer weather, solar reflective material is introduced into the final layers of the resin finishing top coats.  Other colours can be used to give a very good lead look for flashings on roof edges.
